This is artwork, not magic. “Hand” engraving takes a long time, and you will be charged accordingly. How much? Depends on the detail, size, placement and part. The best comparison I have is tattoo work. If you have your own artwork, line drawings, or can give me an avid description of what you want this will cut cost.  Still interested? Can chrome be engraved?

  • No, it will chip peel, not a good idea.

Can I chrome my parts after being engraved?

  • Yes, tell me you plan to do this beforehand and I will make the cuts deeper to compensate for the plating process. As a warning, chroming will still fill in a lot of detail that defines the part.

How long will it take?

  • Turn around time depends on a number of things. I won’t be rushed for poor planing on your part. If you are interested talk to me before you need the work. (and not just the day before) For most items allow me two weeks, but it is best to discuss this whenever we talk.

Can I buy my parts through you?

  • Yes and no, best to ask. I do usually keep parts ready to engrave, but do not have everything.
