Award Winning Motorcycle Shop Celebrates 5 Years in Business

Press Release written Spring 2010

Chariots of Fire Customs LLC celebrates their fifth anniversary this year. With a strong start off to the year after winning in multiple categories at the World of Wheels Show in Kansas City followed by a sweep of wins at the Wide Open Show in St. Louis, owners Jan and Reine Knobbe continue to look forward.

“We are always trying to expand our business to meet the needs of our customers,” says Jan, “We have been very fortunate in the past and are always looking forward to opportunities in the future.” The local motorcycle shop, located in Moscow Springs Plaza has expanded twice since the husband-wife team first opened the doors in March of 2005. The first expansion in 2006 created space for an increased assortment of products as well as a work space to meet the growing need in the service department. After gaining recognition with the debut of King Jake’s Throne during the 2008 Wide Open Show in St. Louis, another expansion was under way. A second expansion created space for a show room and additional lifts needed to meet the growth of services offered.

Today Chariots of Fire Customs, a motorcycle service and repair shop, offers a wide variety of products and services to meet the needs of the biking lifestyle. The store-front offers parts, accessories, leathers and apparel. And if they don’t have it in stock, surely it can be ordered at a competitive price. Services offered include everything from standard maintenance and inspection to customization and builds from the ground up.

“Although the big wins at the shows this year were really great, what I’m really looking forward to this year is our annual bike show,” states Reine, “It’s going to be our best yet!” The annual bike show is doubling as a fifth anniversary celebration this year, taking place on June 5, 2010 coincidentally. The event is free to the public and will take place in the Moscow Springs Plaza parking lot from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The celebration will consist of a judged bike show, vendor booths, attendance prizes, raffles, games and live music from Stray Bullet.
