Moscow Mills- A Cruisin’ for St. Jude event organized by Chariots of Fire Customs, LLC will rev up on June 4 at CFC’s parking lot in Moscow Mills to fundraise for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
“Every child saved at St. Jude means children saved around the world – a direct result of cutting-edge research and treatment that set the standard in treating deadly childhood diseases,” said Reine Knobbe, coordinator of the event. “Through events like Cruisin’ for St. Jude, Moscow Mills supports the St. Jude mission of finding cures and saving children everywhere.”
This volunteer-based community motorsports event will feature a motorcycle show, raffles, 50/50 drawings and live music from The Follow. Motorcycle (and tri-cycle) owners are encouraged to pre-register for the show online on the Annual Show page on Chariots of Fire Customs’ website (www.chariotsoffirecustoms.com). Contributions may also be made online by following the “Donate Now” link on the page if you are unable to attend.
St. Jude depends on community-based fundraising programs like Cruisin’ for St. Jude. At St. Jude, families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance and no child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay. The daily operating cost for St. Jude is $1.5 million, which is primarily covered by public contributions.
This Cruisin’ for St. Jude event is sponsored by Chariots of Fire Customs, LLC.
