Meet Don Aulbert and his remarkable 2014 Ultra Classic, a motorcycle that’s been transformed into a true work of art. Let’s take a closer look at some of the awe-inspiring modifications that make Don’s bike stand out from the crowd.

Custom Front Wheel, Rear Fender & Bags

One glance at Don’s Ultra Classic, and you’ll notice something unique: a custom front wheel that adds an extra touch of style. The rear fender and bags have also been meticulously tailored to create a harmonious visual appeal that’s hard to ignore. These modifications not only enhance the bike’s aesthetics but also demonstrate Don’s dedication to crafting a one-of-a-kind ride.

Chromed Out Complete Front End

Chrome has a special way of catching the eye, and Don has embraced this fact wholeheartedly. The entire front end of his Ultra Classic has been chromed out, creating a stunning contrast with the rich, dark hues of the bike’s body. It’s a testament to Don’s attention to detail and his commitment to making this bike shine in more ways than one.

Pinstriping by Van Gogh, Florissant, MO

Artistry knows no bounds, and Don’s Ultra Classic is a canvas on two wheels. The pinstriping work, done by the talented Van Gogh in Florissant, Missouri, adds a touch of flair and personality to this motorcycle. It’s a testament to the collaboration between passionate bikers and skilled artisans that can yield truly extraordinary results.

Paint by Bullseye Custom & Collision, St. Peters, MO

Behind every stunning motorcycle paint job is a skilled painter with an eye for detail. Bullseye Custom & Collision in St. Peters, Missouri, has left their mark on Don’s Ultra Classic with a paint job that’s nothing short of exceptional. Owner:  Jan Knobbe

Year/Make/Model:  2009 Harley-Davidson Road Glide

Upgrades:  Complete Custom Build

A Remarkable Journey

From abandonment to revival, the 2009 Harley-Davidson Road Glide has a captivating story that adds to its allure. Once left for totaled after a failed theft, this bike found its way to Chariots of Fire Customs in disarray. It was a true diamond in the rough.

Customized to Perfection

Jan Knobbe and the team embarked on a mission to transform the Road Glide into a true masterpiece. With their expertise and passion for motorcycles, they turned this abandoned bike into a symbol of unparalleled craftsmanship and style.

Unforgettable Features

  • Distressed Neon-Green Paint: Tim Douglas of T&A Kustoms brought the Road Glide to life with a stunning custom paint job. The eye-catching neon-green hue, adorned with hazard symbols, demands attention wherever it goes.
  • Engraved Air Cleaner Cover: A unique custom touch that adds a personal and distinctive flair to the bike’s appearance.
  • Cadillac Tail Lights: Paying homage to classic automotive design, the Road Glide features custom Cadillac tail lights that exude timeless elegance.
  • Custom Saddle Bags: Stylish and functional, the custom saddle bags not only enhance the bike’s aesthetics but also provide practical storage space for the rider’s essentials.
  • Two-Into-One Exhaust: Delivering both performance and a deep, throaty exhaust note, the two-into-one exhaust system amplifies the Road Glide’s presence on the road.
  • Blacked-Out Stage IV 103 Motor: Jan Knobbe’s expertise shines through in the blacked-out Stage IV 103 motor. With its impressive power output, the bike roars to life, unleashing a thrilling riding experience.
  • Fat 180 Front Tire: Complementing the potent motor, the fat 180 front tire adds to the Road Glide’s commanding stance and enhances its road-hugging capabilities.

A Journey of Transformation

Transforming the Road Glide was no small feat. The team at Chariots of Fire Customs dedicated themselves to breathe new life into this resilient machine. After acquiring the bike in disarray, missing key components and bearing the scars of its past, they meticulously rebuilt it from the ground up. The Road Glide’s original frame became the foundation for a powerhouse on two wheels. The installation of a Stage IV 103 motor resulted in an astounding 100 horsepower and 117 foot-pounds of torque.

From Abandoned to Extraordinary

The Road Glide, once stolen, abandoned and left to be totaled, has undergone a remarkable transformation at the hands of the Chariots of Fire Customs team. It stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication, technical expertise, and passion for motorcycles. From its tumultuous past to its current awe-inspiring form, this Road Glide is a testament to the power of restoration and the artistry of customization.

Ride the Legend

The 2009 Harley-Davidson Road Glide showcases the remarkable journey from abandonment to ressurection. Its striking design, powerful performance, and unrivaled craftsmanship make it a true masterpiece on two wheels. It ignites envy and turns heads whereever it goes!

Moonshiner 2016

Moonshiner was inspired by this year’s Hot Bike Tour.  It is going through the Appalachian and Smokey Mountain Range from Asheville, NC to Chattanooga, TN.  When Jan dreams about this part of the country, he thinks of moonshine.  Some of the best moonshine he has tasted has been sitting around at the racetracks after all the fans have left and horse power bikes are bedded down for the night.

Jan started with a stock 2009 Harley Davidson Road King Classic and transformed it into a one off custom.  The copper powder coating is what really makes this beauty unique.  Everywhere you look is another piece of copper that shifts and changes color ever so slightly depending on the lighting around you.

If you can dream it, we can build it!
